I have been teaching for 9 years, 7 of them in low income, all day 4 year old kindergarten. Instilling my passion for reading is something that drives me my classroom. I try to keep my reading center very interesting with rotating books every month based on theme, author study, and many different topics that interest the students.

I have 6 energetic and loving girls and 12 adventurous and inquisitional boys in my classroom. They love learning and trying new things. My students favorite center is the reading center, where they explore new books, play "school" with each other, taking turns being the teacher, and so much more.
